Dr. Blake Bush
Our Doctor
Dr. Blake Bush is originally from Ardmore, graduating from Plainview High School in 2000. He then attended Oklahoma State University, finishing in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in Zoology. From there he attended Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee where he received his Doctor of Optometry degree in May of 2008.
Dr. Bush and his wife, Emily, moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma in June of 2008. For four years, he worked in various clinical settings ranging in focus from pediatrics, geriatrics, disease-management, refractive surgery, and whole-family primary eye care. This experience has been useful in honing clinical skills and developing a course for Blake Bush Family Eye Care to provide world class eye and vision care.
Dr. Bush is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians.
He is a strong proponent of volunteerism and serves on the boards for Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), Ardmore Chamber of Commerce and Leadership Ardmore. Dr. Bush is also the chair of the City of Ardmore Planning Commission.
In his spare time Dr. Bush enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, Ellie and Kate, as well as outdoor activities like wakeboarding, camping, kayaking, cycling and golf. They are excited about being active in their church and community in the years to come.
